Top 5 Consumer Finance Apps on Android in Peru for Q2 2021

In the second quarter of 2021, the performance of the top five consumer finance apps on the Android platform in Peru showed interesting trends. Here’s a detailed look at the weekly downloads and active users for each app, with insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Banca Móvil BCP saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 39K at the beginning of April and peaking at around 52K in mid-May. The app also maintained a steady increase in weekly active users, beginning the quarter with about 1.69M users and ending with nearly 1.89M users.

BBVA Perú experienced a steady climb in weekly downloads, starting at around 23K and reaching up to 31K by the end of June. Weekly active users also followed an upward trajectory, beginning at approximately 936K and ending the quarter with around 1.01M users.

Banco de la Nación had fluctuating weekly download numbers, peaking at about 28K in the last week of June. Weekly active users showed a slight increase, beginning the quarter at around 232K and ending at approximately 243K users.

Interbank APP displayed a steady growth in weekly downloads, starting from around 19K and peaking at 25K by the end of June. The app’s weekly active users also saw a consistent increase, starting at about 548K and reaching nearly 591K users by the end of the quarter.

Scotiabank Perú experienced moderate growth in weekly downloads, beginning at around 13K and rising to approximately 18K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users showed a slight increase from around 270K at the beginning of the quarter to about 289K users by the end of June.
